Norwegian is famous for Freestyle Cruising, which offers passengers the freedom to choose a new restaurant, dining time and dining companions each night. With food choices ranging from French, Italian, Continental, to Spanish Tapas, Hawaiian, Asian Fusion and Sushi, passengers can choose a different type of cuisine each night!
Main Dining Room Policies: Guests can request to dine at the same assigned table at the same time for the length of the cruise, or they can enjoy the variety of dining at a different table every evening. Reservations are required when dining in NCL's specialty restaurants and can be made on board. A flat surcharge is required for specialty dining restaurants, or menu items are priced à la carte. Main dining rooms are open from 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Guests must be seated by 9:30 p.m.
Dress Code: Dress is casual. Appropriate attire for men is close-toed shoes, slacks and a collared shirt, while women are advised to wear slacks and blouse, a sundress or a pantsuit. Nice jeans may be worn to dinner in all restaurants, including the main dining room. Tank tops for men, flip flops, baseball caps, visors and jeans that are overly faded, with holes or tears and worn below the hips are not permitted in main dining rooms or specialty restaurants.
Beverage Policy: Alcohol/wine/beer and soft drinks and juices are extra. Soft drink cards are available for purchase on board.
Special Requests: Special meals are available including low-calorie, vegetarian, gluten-free, and low/no sodium meals, as well as sugar-free and fat-free desserts. Kosher meals are available on all ships and itineraries and should be requested at the time of booking, and no later than 60 days prior to sailing.
All dining rooms onboard Norwegian ships are smoke-free.
